Take one: Saturday morning I started working on one of my tennis-style Swarovski crystal bracelets. It usually takes me a few hours to complete one bracelet. I was almost finished and realized I had been distracted while sewing the small crystals together and had sewn one end of the clasp on upside down. I had to take the whole thing apart. They come apart so much faster than they go together!
Take two: I cleared my mind and began again. I worked diligently until the bracelet was nearly complete, but I had to take a break and go to an "Elegant Dinner/Dance". By the way, I had a great time! Anyway, I came home to find the thread that was supposed to be attached to the unfinished bracelet was on the floor under the kitchen table cut into hundreds of tiny pieces. Apparently my curious son got hold of some scissors. They were safety scissors but they work fine on thread. I had to take the whole thing apart again. I went to bed.
Take three: Sunday morning I woke up dermined to complete the bracelet. I decided to make some changes in the materials I was using and tried again. This time I had great luck and finished the bracelet and two more just like it in different colors. Tomorrow I plan to photograph them so I can post pictures of all my hard work!
Success!!
