For months, my cousin hounded me to make a custom necklace just for him. Sometimes it takes me a while to find the right inspiration for a piece. Well, finally all the elements were in place.
1)I had the time to sit and focus on creating.
2)I had narrowed down the materials I wanted to use in his necklace.
So I sat down and came up with the necklace pictured here; using a carved bone hook, sterling silver Bali bead, and various components made of wood, coffee beans and bone. The final result was a masculine, tribal piece that turned out very nicely if I do say so myself! It's so nice that my husband has now claimed it for himself! That wouldn't be so bad, except that if we continue to keep every piece that we like, there will be nothing left to sell. And if we don't sell any jewelry, there will be no funds to purchase beads to create more jewelry!!! (And we are in business to sell jewelry, aren't we??)
