Oh maaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!

I love this bracelet for the holiday season! The dark green emerald is such a gorgeous color. All the crystals are Swarovski. I'm not a good enough photographer to be able to capture how much they sparkle, but believe me it is amazing! Unfortunately I can't list this bracelet on Etsy yet. I was going back into my house after photographing the bracelet in the backyard and it slipped out of my hand and landed on the cement patio. "Oh maaan!" was my first reaction. "Can I get a do-over here?" Crystals are just leaded glass, which apparently doesn't hold up well when it smashes into hard stuff! There are a couple of teeny scratches and chips in the emerald cubes which makes it unfit for sale, but I have no problem wearing it myself! You know, for advertising purposes. I will have to see if I can get some more of the crystal cubes and make another one before I can list it on Etsy, but I wanted to get the photo posted here so I could have something to show for all the hard work I put into it.

Update: In December, my neighbor's mother saw the bracelet and wanted it. I told her I'd like to make her a brand new one because this one had some chips in it. Apparently it wasn't damaged enough for her to mind, so I sold it to her at a super discounted price. She also bought a turquoise and pearl necklace, and another Swarovski bracelet!
