New Shop Banner

I read a forum post on Etsy about how the font "Papyrus" is really overused. Personally, I really like the font and was somewhat offended when I first read that post. After all, that was the font that I had used in my shop banner!!
Then I did some more thinking... The banner on my Etsy page didn't actually do much to represent my jewelry, other than the fact that it says Shining Light Jewelry with some light behind it.
So I opened Photoshop and did some playing around. After a couple of not-so-great tries, I came up with this banner. I think it looks more professional and does more to represent my jewelry style. As much as I like the "Papyrus" font, I do think that this new style is bolder and stands out well.
I also changed my Etsy avatar. But don't get too used to it.... Now that I'm getting more comfortable with Photoshop, I'll probably be changing both the banner and the avatar to fit my mood!
(So I owe a "thanks" to the Etsy buyer theyspunaweb for posting about Papyrus. I moved past my initial reaction and saw the constructive aspect of the situation. I think the results are very nice!)
